Kangkung Goreng belacan



This is my Kangkung goreng belacan.I am sure , everybody know how to cook this. IT's very simple. I pound some belacan aka shrimp paste with onion and garlic. later, I heat oil in my IKEA wok, then fry them till fragrance then add some shrimp, stirr till half cook then add in kangkung.add fish sauce and salt. Then Kangkung belacan is served

steam fish with salted vegie



I know I have shared recipe for steam fish before. but this time, is another version of steam fish. imitation from Nara Sea food.

This is recipe:
1 medium size fish - I used sea bass
a thumb size of young ginger - sliced
1 lemon grass - sliced
salted vegie - slice
2 cloves of garlic - sliced
1 red chili - sliced (may exchange with small chile for more umphh)
3 tbps of nampla sauce
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of sugar
3 tbps of plain water

Method:
Boil water for steaming.Rub fish with salt.make sure fish is fresh and wash thoroughly because it may smell fishy. I rub my fish with lime.
Place the fish in big plate, and put everything in the bowl . Steam for 20 minutes.

Ready to serve.

Feedback: When we using salted vegie with fish, the fish taste more sweeter and its' really SEDAP. match it with kangkung goreng belacan

Nara seafood in Tanjung Lumpur

Last weekend we went to Cherating for a good weekend. So, as for dinner we went to Tanjung Lumpur to enjoy seafood.

These what we had.

sweet sour lala - this lala... Me and hubby only eat 2 pcs because ashraff eat all.Pity Afriena, She doesn't know how to eat this.

Steam fish - this fish was steam with lobak asin. sedap. I 'll try this recipe soon
















Kangkung belacan - taste nice, i think ithey put ikan pekasam
















Overall, food is nice, just no many choise, I think we late as we reach there around 9pm. their service is faster good.Only that they do not have child seat for my kids.For kids they really enjoy the dinner.I think less stress for them sbb baru mandi laut.For drink, each of us have fresh juice. Total dinner is RM58!!! so cheap

cengkodok pisang


this is cengkodok pisang.... not going to blog the recipe as I think everybody know how to prepare it.Just a pic. my son really love this. he can eat them everyday. whenever we have banana, sure he'll ask me to cook banana means make cekodok for him.
Well it's my fav too.

Resepi Laksa Kelantan


Hari ini I akan tulis resepi dalam bahasa Melayu.

Hari minggu yang lau, saya telah masak Laksa Kelantan. Ini adalah kali kedua saya memasak nya. Pada mula nya saya nak masak Laksam tapi takut lambat sebab dah lapar so beli je laksa kering rebus.

Memang puas haati masak Laksa sebab adik- adik saya datang makan , anak - anak cakap " mama sedapnye" and husband makan tak ingat dunia.

saya berkong si resepi seperti di bawah:

Bahan A:
Laksa kering- rebus sampai masak... biar overcook sikit baru sedap

bahan B (kuah)

  • 10 ekor ikan kembung/sardin/pelaling - saya pakai ikan pelaling sbb banyak dalam fridge tak masak
  • santan kara 2 kotak
  • 1 sudu makan lada hitam
  • 10 biji bawang merah
  • 1 biji bawang putih
  • 1 inci halia
  • air secukup nya
  • garam
  • 10 keping asam keping
  • gula
bahan tabur
  • daun kesum
  • bunga kantan
  • kacang panjang
  • timun
  • tauge
  • sambal belacan - mesti kena pakai cili padi baaru ummphh and belacan + asam limau kena lebih
cara-caranye:
rebus ikan dengan sikit air, 10 asam keping and garam sikit. rebus semalam sebelum lagi bagus. saya rebus pagi untuk makan malam, so asam dia akan serap dalam ikan
then, asingkan isi ikan. separuh isi ikan di mesin bersama bawang- bawang, halia dan lada hitam. mesin dengan sedikit air sampai lumat. lagi separuh tumbuk sampai lumat. pastu mesin tulang-temulang ikan dengan air rebusan, then campur dalam ikan yang telah ditumbuk/mesin(jgn lupa tapis nye, kalau tak tercekik tulang) lepas tu masak dengan santan, taruk 2 keping asam yg yang telah digunak masa rebus ikan tadi. masak hingga mendidih, kalau pekat sgt campur air . rasakan dengan garam, gula.tutup api then boleh makan.

kalau nak laagi sedap, masa makan tu amik le sikit belacan , campur dalam laksa tu....sedap gile...

Telur Dadar is one of my favourite if I don't know what to eat. since I don't eat egg yolk, cooking omelet is the way to encourage me to eat egg yolk. I can enjoy telur Dadar with bread , rice or just eat on its own.

My recipe is very easy.

2 egg
a tbps diced onion
a dash of white pepper
a pinch of salt

then mix well

fry on non stick pan with alil hot oil then it serve
