I got this recipe from my mom (she's not Kelantanese but she knows a lot of kelantanese food)
This recipe is very easy, no messy , no oil just boiled
2pcs of ikan tongkol (tuna species)
2-3 big chilies
5 pcs small chilies
3 slices of galangal (lengkuas)
2 tbsp of sugar/brown sugar
a pinch of salt/ to taste
5-6 pcs of pcs of asam gelugur
1/2 cup of water to boil
next step - throw all the ingredient in a pot then biled it till the fish is cooked. make sure the water is not dry cos you need the tasty water to accompany with your rice.
p/s: this recipe good for those want go for on diet.
